In order for the verse to provide fully functional immersive worlds, the underlying platform on which it operates must be secure. Therefore, the robust and decentralized nature of blockchain technology is a natural fit. Overall, blockchain will allow for quick confirmation of information, as well as cryptographically secure and protected transactions. Verse crypto assets will include currency, portable digital goods, securely stored personal information, medical records, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and much more. Overall, blockchain will become a fundamental and integral aspect of how immersive reality will be deployed.
